This Privacy Policy describes how Fayette Studio ("Fayette Studio," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit fayettestudio.com (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and consent to the practices described below, including our use of cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 3.

1. Who We Are

Fayette Studio designs, sells, and customizes rugs and related products. If you have questions about this Policy or our data practices, contact us using the details in Section 11.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you contact us, submit an inquiry, request a custom rug, apply for a trade account, or otherwise communicate with us through the Site, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company or business name, shipping or billing details, project information, and any other information you choose to provide.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 3). This may include your IP address and approximate location, browser and device type, the pages you view and links you click, the time spent on pages, your referring source, and other usage and interaction data.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies (collectively, "Tracking Technologies"), including those operated by us and by the service providers that help us run the Site. These technologies may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information, and your interactions with the Site.

Depending on your consent and how the Site is configured, the Site may use:

- Strictly necessary technologies required for the Site to function.

- Analytics technologies that help us understand how visitors use the Site.

- Functional technologies, including web fonts and embedded media, that support how the Site looks and behaves.

The Site is hosted on the Squarespace platform, uses Squarespace's built-in analytics, and uses Adobe Fonts to display typography. Information collected through these technologies may be transmitted to and processed by those providers in accordance with their own privacy policies. If we add advertising or marketing pixels in the future, this Policy and our cookie banner will be updated to reflect that.

Your consent and choices. Where required, non-essential Tracking Technologies are deployed only after you provide consent through our cookie banner. You may accept or decline non-essential Tracking Technologies, and you may change your preferences at any time using the cookie preferences control on the Site. You can also adjust your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies, though some Site features may not function properly as a result.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Site; respond to your inquiries and provide requested products and services; communicate with you; process trade account applications and custom orders; analyze Site usage and performance; detect and prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with our legal obligations.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and vendors who perform functions on our behalf (such as website hosting, analytics, web fonts, payment processing, and shipping); with the third-party providers of the Tracking Technologies described in Section 3; for legal and safety reasons, where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect any person's rights or safety; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

6. Third-Party Sites and Services

The Site may link to or embed content from third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and the right to opt out of certain sharing. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

By using the Site after being presented with our cookie banner and this Policy, and by setting (or declining to change) your cookie preferences, you consent to the collection, use, and transmission of information through the Tracking Technologies described in Section 3, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
